Shadowbinder Nekyros offers assistance with obtaining and refining Shadow Gear. These are powerful, cursed relics forged in the aftermath of Babylon’s reach into the Rift.

Nekyros' Projection can be found in the Capital, where it can sell you the Shadow Gear, but cannot refine it. To refine your Shadow Gear, you must visit the real Nekyros in Devil Square.

Nekyros provides two main services:

• Purchase Basic Shadow Gear

• Refine Shadow Gear (requires Essence Flask)

Main Services:

1. Shadow Gear Shop:

   • You can buy Shadow Gears in exchange for Zeny.

   • Price: Each Shadow Gear costs 2,500,000 Zeny.

2. Refine Shadow Gear:

   • What It Does:

     • Refines Shadow Gear items, unlocking their true potential.

     • Requires Essence Flasks (an item that can be obtained through the Rebirth System).

   • How It Works:

     • Refining increases the power of Shadow Gear but draws you further into Babylon's curse.

     • The refining process does not fail, but each attempt takes you closer to the curse’s grip.

     • Maximum refinement: 10 times for each gear.

     • Essence Flask Requirement: 1 per refinement attempt.

Note:

• Powerful, Cursed Relics: The Shadow Gears are powerful but are also cursed. They awaken only in places marked by the Rift's taint, like Devil Square or The Archives of Babylon.
