"Attempt to call a nil value" or LUA errors

• Caused by missing or outdated LUA or AI files.

• Try running the patcher again, or reinstall the full client.

• If you’ve added custom AI, remove or update it.

🔊 No sound or music in-game

• Make sure your BGM and WAV folders exist and aren't empty.

• Check your in-game sound settings (/bgm and /sound).

• Reinstall or verify the integrity of the game files.

🚫 “Ragexe.exe has stopped working”

• Common crash caused by compatibility issues.

• Right-click WoonRO.exe or Ragexe.exe → Properties → Compatibility → Set to Windows 7 or XP SP3.

• Also try running as Administrator.

⚙️ Mouse doesn't work / can’t click properly in full screen

• Set mouse freedom on in the setup.exe (or use a newer setup tool).

• Play in windowed mode to avoid mouse lock issues.

🕶️ Black screen or only background shows

• Might be a resolution issue.

• Run Setup.exe and change to a lower resolution (e.g., 1024x768).

• Make sure the game isn't set to launch in an unsupported resolution.

⛔ Antivirus falsely deletes game files

• Some antivirus software flag RO files as false positives.

• Add the entire WoonRO folder to your antivirus' exception list.

• Reinstall if important files were deleted.
